Hi,
I'm having an issue in refreshing PowerBI dashboard via PowerBI Gateway connecting to AWS Redshift. Problem is that sometime the refresh works but other time it does not work and returns a connection timeout issue. Any idea why this error happens.
Thanks

Look like something wrong with the network/firewall/VPN as the packages were dropped and hence connection was discrupted. When we moved the gateway into AWS, the problem was solved.

Below are the reasons to the connection timeout issue between Power BI Gateway and AWS Redshift during dashboard refresh:
1. Make sure the stable and low latency network between power BI gateway and Amazon Redshift
2. try to Increase timeout settings in the Power BI Gateway configuration to allow more time for Redshift queries to execute.
3. Please review the AWS CloudWatch logs for any connectivity issues during the refresh. Additionally, ensure that the Power BI Gateway, drivers, and Power BI Service are up-to-date. Note that Power BI refresh performance may be impacted during peak usage times.
